We had a great time dressing up and taking part in our Victorian day!

This term our topic has been ‘Fire! Fire!’  The children have enjoyed learning about a large fire which took place in Newcastle and Gateshead on the 6th October 1854.  They found out about this event from visiting the quayside and listening to a story about a girl called Lizzie who lived on the street where the fire started.
